Hi everyone!

Long time no journal! Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday if you're in the US. If not, have some anyway!

This will be just a short update.

I graduated from SCAD about a month ago, and I've posted my senior film for everyone to see on Vimeo! I hope you enjoy it as we all worked really hard to bring it to life!

It's been quite some time since I posted much on here! I spent the latest term developing an animatic for my senior film and freaking out for 10 straight weeks. It's still not ready for the first of the term in mid-September, but I haven't been able to make myself work on it will all the pressure I'm under. 

SO! I've spent some time during the summer working on other stuff. All the copic pieces I just posted are ones that I produced over the past few weeks. I'm pretty happy with them for the most part. I just wish I could get them properly color-corrected in photoshop XD. Anyway to the point of this journal: 

All 10 of my recent copic posts are for sale! They're $30 USD each which will include shipping in the US. Outside of the US will be an extra $5 USD ($35 USD total) to cover International Shipping. Payment will be upfront via Paypal. Send me a note if you'd like one. These are the originals, and I won't be remaking them. This will be only chance to grab these. 

Please note that the originals will differ slightly from these images as scanning and color-correction will not line up with the original image 100%.

Depending on how the term goes, I'm going to try to carve out some time for personal art and draw more characters. I really want to get better with copics as I've had nothing but a blast using them. ^_^

Emma and the Moonstone

This is my film from 2D Production. I finished work on it just a couple of weeks ago, but I've been putting off uploading it for a couple of reasons. Regardless here it is! I worked really hard on it, and even though there's lots of room for improvement, I'm damned proud!

Just 1 more week!

One more week of classes until it's winter break! This has been an extremely stressful few weeks for a number of reasons, and I'm just ready for a tiny vacation from it all.

Commissions are still open if anyone wants to send me a note about them. I won't be able to start until finals are over (next week), but I'm happy to discuss what you have in mind until then. I also put my shirt designs up at RedBubble if anyone prefers to shop there. Any and all sales are a big help right now as Savannah is an expensive town to live in. :/

Frantic Flailing

So much has happened in the months since I last wrote one of these.

I hope anyone that went to BronyCan enjoyed the artwork we put together for it. A tremendous effort went into the convention behind the scenes, and I was really happy to hear that the charity postcards the art team created sold well. ^_^ I've been bouncing around between BronyCan and personal projects for the past several months. Now that the convention is over I am finally working on somethings that haven't gotten enough attention. Though with classes starting back in just a few days, and a change of apartments happening in less than a week, the attention will be sporadic. For several weeks I've been buying copic markers whenever a sale appeared at the art stores in my area. As such I've managed to get all but one of the markers I need for the Mane 6, Spike, Luna, and Celestia. I may open commissions for these down the line after I've had more practice with them.

This term I'm taking Digital Form, Space, and Lighting, Visual Effects-Based Cinematography, & 20th Century Art. Should be an interesting term filled with fun, stress, egregious amounts of flailing at computers, and everything in between. =P 

I'm still going to do Daily Doodles to keep my skills sharp and learn how Manga Studio/raster art works. Ask Kindler is still on, I'm just out of short questions. ^^;  I've got 3 more that required me to do some design work before I answer them. I'll alternate the Asks and Daily Doodles whenever it feels appropriate. 

That's how I'm doing anyway.
